Preparing for Your First Appointment

Agent Rx facials are not “Spa Facials”. Each treatment is solution-focused and personalized based on your skin history, current skin condition, and future goals. To avoid possible skin reactions and have the best experience we ask that you follow the recommendations below.

1. Discontinue use of Retinoids 5-7 days before your appointment.

These include Tretinoin, Tazoratene, Adapalene, Differin, Retinol, etc. This is important for the safety of your skin. If your skin barrier is compromised this may limit certain techniques or services.

2. Discontinue exfoliating products 5-7 days prior.

These include clay masques, harsh products, AHA/BHA, Scrubs, Peel Pads, etc. This helps ensure your skin is not over exfoliated during the treatment.

Keep your skin well hydrated prior to your appointment. If your skin is feeling very dry, apply an occlusive product like CeraBalm, SOS, Aquaphor, or Vaseline the night before.

3. If you have to reschedule, do so more than 1 week in advance.

Cancellations within 7 days of the appointment, will be subject to a 20% processing fee. Check your original confirmation email or text to make changes to your appointment. Cancellations within 72 hours will be charged additional fees and may forfeit membership.

4. The day of, come in as you are.

If you wear make up, avoid heavy make up or water resistant sunscreen to allow for easy removal during the treatment. This gives us more time to work on your skin!

5. Arrive on time or slightly early.

Plan accordingly and allow for extra time to secure parking. We understand that situations do arise, please notify us as soon as possible.
